About Me

I’m a Board-certified Practitioner of Chinese Medicine, Acupuncture and Herbalist.  I was introduced to Chinese Medicine in my late twenties. The genuine care and concern shown by the practitioner in this tiny Korean shop in Atlanta, GA made a profound impression that kept me returning to acupuncture for years to come. After graduating from Georgia State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, I began to explore the connection between the mind and body.

In my quest to learn more about the body's ability to self-heal and expand, I became a certified hatha yoga instructor in 2001. I also grew an inch from having my posture corrected during the yoga training! Then, in 2003 shortly after the amazing birth of my son, I became fascinated with childbirth and wanted to become part of the movement that helps women birth better.  I became a Hypnobabies childbirth educator and hypno-doula so that I could pass on what I had learned to other moms. Birthing babies in complete comfort and confidence is a choice, and I’m here to make sure that choice is available!

Wanting to have a deeper understanding of health, I pursued a Masters in Traditional Chinese Medicine. I graduated from Yo San University with high honors and became both nationally certified and state board licensed. I’ve worked in both private and clinical settings, which have helped to cultivate a deep understanding of health and wellness.  I’m devoted to helping others reach their personal and professional health goals. By using the techniques and philosophy of Traditional Chinese Medicine, my goal is to partner with the patient to help restore balance and optimal vitality within the body.

I treat a variety of health challenges such as pain, stress, depression,  and addiction.  I have a special interest in infertility, women’s health, prenatal and postnatal care for moms.

In 2016 I began treating personal injury cases and find the work incredibly rewarding. My specialties are concussions, fractures, and soft tissue injuries.

I look forward to meeting with you and creating a partnership for

your health.

For your health and wellness,

Veterans

I have a soft spot for veterans. My father retired from the army after 21 years of service. I’ve seen and heard enough to understand some of the physical and emotional health challenges that x-military personnel face. It is such an honor to be of service to the  men and women who risked their lives for the safety & freedom  of others.
